Hi,
I'm Lydia

Helping queer people build lives on their own terms

For a long time, I thought I was living the life I was supposed to want.

I worked hard, looked after everyone else, and did everything "right". But underneath it all, something never quite fit.

In 2020, after nearly fifteen years working in education, I hit burnout.

At the time, I thought burnout was the problem. Looking back, I see it differently. Burnout was the moment I could no longer ignore that I was living a life that didn't truly feel like mine.

It forced me to ask a different question:

"What do I actually want?"

That question changed everything.

Slowly, I rebuilt my life—not perfectly, and not all at once, but in a way that felt more honest. I stopped chasing someone else's version of success and started creating a life that felt like mine.

As a queer person, I know how easy it is to spend years adapting, masking, shrinking yourself, or trying to fit into a world that wasn't built with you in mind.

Over time, that can leave you feeling disconnected from yourself. Maybe you're exhausted. Maybe you're questioning what's next. Maybe you simply know that the life you've built doesn't quite feel like home anymore.

That's why I created The Queer Pioneer.

I help queer people reconnect with themselves, trust their own voice, and build lives on their own terms.

Through coaching, workshops and community, I create queer-affirming spaces where you don't have to perform, explain or have everything figured out. Just space to be honest about where you are, explore what you want, and start creating something that feels like yours.

Whether you're navigating burnout, a big life change, identity questions, or simply feeling ready for something different, you're welcome here.

We have to be visible. We should not be ashamed of who we are.
